Take me down home

As an avid fan of The Food Network, I have been intrigued by the coming attractions for a new show called Down Home With The Neelys. This is a family that runs a few barbecue restaurants in Tennessee and I saw them for the first time on Road Tasted, the show hosted by Jamie and Bobby Deen. They seem so inviting as entrepreunurs and as people.

So I watched the new show this morning and I love their energy, particularly their spiritual energy. You never know what you're going to get when you're watching a dynamic between couples, but theirs seems so real and vibrant. And, well, the food looks deadly good.

I don't expect to be in Tennessee any time soon, but I feel like I have a taste of it coming into my living room. Good TV.
